Presentation – Why you need Eyetracking in Usability
UPA HK invites Mr Robert Stevens a pioneer in the use of Eyetracking in support of Usability testing to deliver a presentation here in Hong Kong on Thursday 19 February 2009.
Roberts talk will explore the usability practitioners’ reliance on the Think Aloud protocol. He will question the validity of this protocol before moving on to ask and hopefully provide one answer to the question, is there another, better, way?
About Bunnyfoot:
- In 2003 Bunnyfoot became the first usability company in the World to offer Eyetracking as a standard component of usability testing.
- In 2004 Bunnyfoot became the exclusive UK reseller for Tobii AB, the Swedish eyetracking manufacture.
- The use of eyetracking in usability studies is now widely accepted and practised in the UK with 13 of the top 15 usability companies using eyetracking.
- Bunnyfoot has recently been commissioned to write the UK governments guidelines on usability.

Robert Stevens
Since Co-Founding Bunnyfoot Robert has:
Helped grown Bunnyfoot to be a World leading behavioral research consultancy Developed and validated the Post Experience Eyetracked Protocol (PEEP) methodology in conjunction with the University of Lancaster Led the development of SuperVisual - Bunnyfoot's own eyetracking application developed to meet the specific needs of customers who require benefit led quantitative and qualitative research

Daniel Szuc is the Principal Consultant at Apogee Usability Asia Ltd, President of UPA Hong Kong and the Vice President of UPA International.
Ernest Reid
Ernest is the Managing Director of Bunnyfoot Asia based here in Hong Kong and responsible for Bunnyfoot’s operations across the Asia Pacific Region.
Before joining Bunnyfoot Ernest worked for IBM’s Ease of Use group and was the User Experience Director with the Scient Corporation. He has over sixteen year’s practical experience in the commercial application of user centric techniques including usability testing. Over the years Ernest has worked with a large number of blue chip companies across industry sectors, much of this work right here in the Asia Pacific region.
Ernest has an MSc in Human Centred Computer Systems and a BA [HONS] in Psychology both from the school of Cognitive and Computing Science, Sussex University.
